The Chicago Cubbies finally broke the curse of the Billy Goat and won the World Series Championship!  Join in on the celebration by taking a 2-hour walking food tour through the streets that house the second-oldest ballpark in the majors, ivy-laden Wrigley Field.

Ditch the peanuts and “hit a home run” by tantalizing your mind and taste buds with everything that Wrigleyville has to offer! Starting at 11am at Murphy's Bleachers, you’ll be led by a professional guide who will share the sights and stories behind the historical, cultural and architectural components that make up this legendary Chicago Neighborhood. This is your chance to capture your obligatory photos in front of the famous Cubbies’ marquee and Harry Caray Statue!

Along your journey, you’ll also get to enjoy some iconic foods of the field. Meeting at Murphy’s Bleachers, a Wrigleyville staple for over 80 years, you'll enjoy a famous mini cheeseburger made out of fresh ground tenderloin trimmings. Indulge in a world-renown Chicago-style hot dog and find out what makes the delicious, iconic treat different from the average hot dog. Sink you teeth into a classic Italian beef sandwich that made its legendary appearance starting back in 1938.  It’s safe to say this tour is a Grand Slam! Be sure to come hungry!

  • Wrigleyville Dogs has been serving a #1 Chicago Style Hotdog since 1992! Savor a Chicago Style Hot dog that has been “dragged through the garden” A wonderful way to start a Tastebud Food Tour, Play ball!
  • Al's Beef - You'll sink a classic Italian beef sandwich at Al’s Beef. The staff has been making these famous Chicago sandwiches since 1938.
  • Murphy's Bleachers - Murphy's Bleachers has been a fixture in Wrigleyville for close to 80 years. From its post prohibition origin as Ernie’s Bleachers, selling hot dogs and beer by the pail, to home of the Bleacher Bums in the 60s, it has been both a hub of the neighborhood and a haven for Cubs fans. A great way to start a food tour is having Murphy's famous mini Cheeseburger along with a side of fries!
  • Visit the exterior of Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs. Learn about landmarks sights and stories behind the historical, cultural and architectural components that make up this legendary Wrigleyville Neighborhood.
