Grains mostly higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery advanced 13.6 cents at $5.3060 a bushel; Dec. corn rose 5.60 cents at $3.6020 a bushel; Dec. oats gained 5.40 cents at $2.5660 a bushel while Nov. soybeans fell 1 cent at 8.4340 a bushel.

Beef and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle was up .08 cent at $1.1270 a pound; Sep. feeder cattle was rose .53 cent at $1.5640 a pound; Oct. lean hogs gained .35 cent at .6110 a pound.
