Dewey Elementary School Reviews

I'm a parent of two children at Dewey, and we feel very privileged to be a Dewey family. Chidlren at Dewey are held to a high but attainable standard -- both in behavior and performance -- but the individual is always appreciated. I have one child who is gifted and one with special needs, and both spectrums are addressed beyond our expectations, and yet neither child is made to feel different in any negative sort of way. In addition to great academic and academic support programs, Dewey has many extracurriculuar activities, which are well-attended. Children can participate in anything from drama to foreign language to chess (there are more than 80 students involved in the chess club!), and no child is turned away due to inability to pay any fees. We are so pleased to have our children at such an outstanding school.

As a parent of a Dewey School student. I enjoy that the child likes the school and loves learning. The atmosphere is good. Quality of academic programs are good. Level of parental involvement is always requested. Lots of extracurricular activities are at hand.
