Brighton Park Elementary School Reviews

I went to this school when i was younger and I loved it, the staff was amazing and got to know all the students.

Very bad principal. Treats students, teachers and parents like they are unworthy and far below her.

The principal does not care for students, and doesn't have cultural sensibility for the latino community. The teachers however are great, but some of the aides can be inconsiderate and racist towards english learners in the school. Overall this scool is about a 4 stars.

I have 2 children at brighton. The school has great caring teachers but they don't stay long. If a student skips school THE HOME IS NOT CALLED. The one thing I like about the principal is that she knows just about every student at brighton park. Great after school programs.

I went to brighton and that school was not good at all. There isn't a lot of extra curricular activities for females either. Its real crowded too.

I attended Brighton Park from K-8 and, thanks to its excellent teaching staff, I left that school with much knowledge about the world outside the school walls. The academic programs excellently prepare the students for the ISAT ans IOWA Tests. Extracurricular activities are available for all students and are of the highest quality. Parents are very involved in their child's learning and every teacher cares about each student, helping them in every way to make sure they succeed in life. Brighton Park is one of the best schools in the area and provides an excellent academic program for students of all ages.

I went to BPS since I was in kindergarden. I loved it their. The teachers would hold extra projects for extra credit. Also the best programs, personally they wree fun and helped out on so much on the ISAT plus I now go to Chaney Monge in Crest Hill and we barely studied for ISAT's. At least Brighton Park had a lot more educational fieldtrips and they had the best program 'The homework program' in which some of the PTO would stay out and help students with homework even provide them lunch.(not chaney monge)One time they even had the ART program. All in which were free, fun, and most of all provided free lunch. We have crossing guards!

All I remember is when I used to go to Brighton Park School it was the best school I have ever been to and probably will ever go to. To the teachers, the extra activities we could do for instance basketball that was the best part for me. When I moved in 5th grade I knew I was going to miss it especially my favorite teacher Ms. Thompson she was thee best! They teach you what you need to know for the future any one who has a kid that is growing up you should think about taking them to Brighton Park its one of the best schools I think!

I used to go to this school and it was a good school. They did really care about our saftey because let me tell you they protected us in any way that they could of. At times it wasn't fun because some of the rules were non-understadable but now as I grew up I see why they did everything that they did. Well overall I do think that school is a good school. Especaily if you get Ms. Smith, Ms. Neville, or Ms. Czoski. They are wonderful teachers and they really do care about you and they aren't mean unless you get them mad. Overall they are wonderful people, teachers and friends that are there for your every need.
