Edwards Elementary School Reviews

I'm really happy with the school's academic level. And the teachers as far as Pre-k and first grade are great! This is my daughter's second year attending Edwards and she can never wait to go back to school. That says a lot for me:)

My son only attended Pre-K, but I found that the class was geared towards teaching all the students equally and there were bi-lingual aides that assisted with the non-English speaking students. My son had regular homework assignments even during breaks. He also took violin classes. I transferred him out for Kindergarten because the school is a year round school due to overcrowding, and I feel that children should have full summer breaks.

This is a good school with a good staff however parental involvement is very low. I m a former student and have children who attend Edwards. It is nice to have a diverse student population and to see them all get along. The after school activities like volleyball and basketball (other sports too) are great with some very dedicated staff members. It is good to have a supportative staff because there aren't any parents other than me who show up the majority of the time. Thank goodness there is a good and caring staff to fill in for parents who may not be able to be involved.
