Whittier Elementary School Reviews

I would just like to say that my kids attended this school and the teachers are great! The principal is outgoing, spunky and wonderful. The only negative is the office staff they need to be as upbeat as the principal and all of the other staff, very unfriendly and not very welcoming.

The fifth grade gifted teacher is outstanding. My child loves going to school. Her class is responsible for the school newspaper. The kids write stories, type, and prepare the newspaper. The teacher is big into computers and my child has become quite computer savvy. The kids read and analyze novels. Band and choir are courses kids can begin in fifth grade. More kids should take advantage of these wonderful opportunities. The P.E. teacher started a walking club before school. Art and Music are other favorite classes. They also have outstanding special education services for children with learning diabilties.

I have never been happier with a school as I am with Whittier! The principal is incredible, the 4th grade teacher Mr Coppin is also incredible. The kids are treated as a family member rather then just another paycheck to the school.
