The majority of the teachers have master degrees (and that says alot seeing as they could earn a much higher salary teaching in the public schools.) Students not only learn the basics, including computer skills, science lab experience, they are taught how to be good people and model citizens in a world where it seems sometimes that is a lost concept. The caring staff and the religious education teacher is a big plus at St Rene. Check it out. He speaks much better and has learned so much. St. Rene also has many great programs and activities for the kids to take advantage of. The teachers at St. Rene are highly dedicated (and educated) individuals who are very devoted to the students and their parents. The computer lab is outfitted with laptops that run Windows XP and the reading lab utilizes a program called Accelerated Reading which allows students to challenge their comprehension skills on an individual basis. The faculty has implemented accelerated math programs at all grade levels--my 2nd grader is working with age appropriate pre-algebraic equations! The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities for students and parents including scouts for all ages, sports and parent clubs. I highly recommend this school to any parent who is looking to provide thier child with a top notch Catholic education.”
