Daystar School Reviews

My boys have attended Daystar for a combined total of 13 years. I love this school because it is culturally mixed and they use the city as a classroom. Learning excursions are tied to unit studies; music and art programs are outstanding; parents are a vital part of the school's success because we are invited to participate in so many ways. I highly recommend this Christian school to anyone who wants a well rounded experience for their elementary school aged kids.

When my husband and I first started looking for schools for our sons, we had the following priorities low student teacher ratio high academic standards high quality facilities long-term solution (i.e., K-12) After a difficult year at one of Chicago s premier schools, we reassessed our priorities. Our new priorities were creates an environment both physical and social that makes our child excited about learning presents materials in a manner that is not contrary to the Bible takes advantage of the city s vast resources appreciates our child s uniqueness and considers his personal learning style equips its students to understand and respect people from different backgrounds We found all of this at Daystar School! Our son has been at Daystar for four years and we are looking forward to sending our younger son there next fall. I would highly recommend Daystar School to anyone looking for a school for their child.
