St. Paul Lutheran Academy Reviews

ST. Paul's Great! They installed a new technology lab in April 2007. Its all apple macbooks really state of the art. They installed a new gigabit network that's really fast and allows students to download things at really high speeds. They said the next project on the list is WI-FI for all the classrooms. This is a great school that all should consider.

I have been thrilled to send my children to St Paul Skokie. I have found the staff to be dedicated, committed and invested in my child's educaitonal and spiritual well-being. The staff has been open but most importantly- my children LOVE it here.

As a graduate of St. Paul I am thrilled that I still live close enough to send my kids there. Parents are encouraged to be a part of their child's education and participate in school activities. They offer full day Preschool for 4yr olds and 1/2 day for 3yr olds. They also have K-8. There is also early morning and afterschool care. Many improvements are coming this year including a newspaper club and new computer lab. Whether you are a member of the church or not, you are family there. Everyone knows who you and your child are, and they take care of each other in a way no public school can. Truly a caring environment for kids, parents, and community.

I have two children at St. Paul in preschool and the primary grades. Although the school is run by St. Paul Church, the school community welcomes non-members and provides opportunities for parents to participate in their child's education. Unlike many other preschools where there is high teacher turnover, St. Paul offers stability with dedicated teachers. There are many fun activities and even music class twice a week. In the primary grades the curriculum includes learning about the community. The have visited 'neighborhood helpers' at the police station and post office. They have also been neighborhood helpers by visiting local nursing homes to chat and sing with residents. There are many opportunities for building presentation skills through frequent participation in chapel, recitals and dramatic sketches. My oldest used to blink back tears speaking in public but now does so with confidence. I have been amazed at what a small, dedicated community can accomplish.

Overall, I am pretty satisfied with this school. My daughter likes it there and hasn't had any problems. Keep up the good work!

I am sorry to say but I did not find this school protective of my daughter. I had bad experiences from this school. I am very disappointed with the safety of the kids here, I would suggest if you have kids enrolled in this school, always make sure your kid is safe in the hands of the teacher.

We have 2 children attending and are thrilled with the overall dedication of the teaching staff, the music program and friendly and safe environment within a christian education.
