St. Ethelreda Elementary School Reviews

The principal and teachers of this school needs to go. These children are not prepare in math and science. The school is more about appearance than education. The teachers and the principal put up a front for new parents, like it such a good school with loving staff and a good curriculum .

I think for the price you pay that this was good school. They could really use a play ground and I didn't feel that they offered enough field trips for the younger grades but the curriculum is solid and there is a lot of parental envolvement. I thought the principal and staff were very helpful and nice.

I think that the academic programs thus far are much better than that at some public schools. The disciplinary action is great as it allows children to act in a becoming manner. There are several good after school events and the school accomodates the community in which it resides. I am not aware of the parent involvement thus far as I am a new parent to the school.

St. Ethelreda is going into the wrong direction will dealing with the students. The teaching staff is not interacting with the children. The school has become a all day babysitting center.

At first I thought attending this school would be a great opportunity for my child. Over time (2 yrs) I realize that St. Ethelreda is a sham school. They seek to keep funding coming but are less concerned with the educative process. I attempted to meet with the principal and teachers with no success. In fact the principal avoided me and never returned calls (over 20, I logged them)! My child was visibly behind in math and reading and I wanted to check on avenues that would build him up. In meeting with his current teacher, I was rudely informed that he'd be hald back. Now for 10 weeks I received no contact on his status and was ignored when I attempted to meet about it. Theres more but I am running out of space for this field. Bottom line - I am transferring my child to another school!

My son has been a student at St. Ethelreda School for the past 6 years. He has learned quite a bit. I a especially pleased with the Christian aspect of the school. Having Christ in your life does make a difference and my son is learning how and why we praise God.
