St. Louise De Marillac School Reviews

I think this school deserves at lease 4 stars this school is great they give each student help which is so great! And may I remind all people that we have great sports activities and test scores! I think this is better then the elmentry schools around.

St. Louise de Marillac is a gem of a school for preschool through 8th grade. The teachers are fantastic and the school community really works well together. The parents are very involved and supportive.

I have had children at St. Louise for the past nine years and am very happy with the education they have received. The teachers there all care about the individual student and want them to succeed. Most of the families are very involved in the school and activities. It creates more of a family atmosphere. I feel the kids are very prepared for high school and most go on and do very well.

I have been very happy at St.Louise for several years. As a former teacher myself, I am pleased with the staff as well as the curriculum at this school. I would ask that you bypass the rumors that are being spread around and come to our school and see for yourself. I think that you would be very happy with what you see and experience.

I am a parent of two St. Louise graduates. Both felt extremely well prepared for high school. They have consistently done well in math, knowing most of what was being taught in the first semester of honors algebra before they got to high school. Even though St. Louise is a relatively small school (or maybe because of that), both of my children had the social skills as well as academic to fit in at their larger high schools.

My three children have all attended and graduated from St. Louise, and each of them have moved on to excel at Nazareth High School. Parental involvement at St. Louise is very high, and while 99% of the time that is a great thing, it leads to some parents (usually moms) getting too emotionally invested in the school. This can sometimes lead to a bit of irrational complaining on the part of these parents (moms) who haven;t had things go exactly their way. I'm sure this dynamic exists at other schools as well - but it seems a bit dramatic at St. Louise. All in all it's a great school for the kids though - and that's what counts.

My children are recent graduates who have found that they were much better prepared for high school than their classmates from other schools. Throughout our years at St. Louise, I have found all of the teachers, principal and staff very willing to listen and take the extra time with my children and others.

My child goes to St. Louise, and he loves it! He was enrolled before at St. Barbra in Brookfield, he would always come home crying saying that kids would pick on him, and that the teachers there had no respect for anyone. Now everyday he comes home with a smile on his face, and always tells me what a great day he has had. I love there new state of the art Parish Center and computer lab. If my older son needs extra help the teachers there are always willing to give up sometime, either before school or in the morning to help them. The teachers are always so welcome to see u and greet you! My family and I love this school, and highly recomend it!

There are a couple of excellent teachers at the school. But the rest are terrible. The have been teaching at this school for decades and have decades old curriculum and policies. But the biggest problem at this school is the prevailing attitude of the administration that they are doing you a favor instead of an attitude of providing a service. All my concerns and complaints have been ignored and dismissed. This will be my children's last year at this school and I could not recommend it to anyone. The sad part is that the parents and family are so involved and try so hard to keep the school moving forward. I will miss that.
