Trinity High School Reviews

I love Trinity High School besides the strict rules and need for our huge uniform change this year. We get help when we need either by girls who are advanced at the subject or by teachers in the morning, durin our 3 period hour, or after school. The teachers are always willing to help and the reason why they dont stop in class is because majority of the students dont want to have keeping to stop their learning and they have to get the lesson out and taught in the short period of time we have. That is why we have many different times when we can recieve help. Love that school and I wish the others that attend feel the same way!

Great school committed to excellence.

I attended Trinity and strongly believe that I would not be the successful business owner I am today if it wasn't for Trinity's superior education, talented faculty, and the leadership opportunities it provided me as a student. It was at Trinity that I learned to be a leader, a strong woman, and to aim high in life. I was extremely prepared for college when I graduated, and found that I was far ahead of most of my peers in university classes. I will never be able to thank Trinity for all it has done for me.

My daughter is a junior in the IB program and is definitely very challenged by the program. I feel it will prepare her for her future in college, much better than some of the other schools that would be available to her. I like the fact that the school is smaller, so that she is not just a number which definitely gives her personal attention. She has been able to add to her leadership abilities and her confidence will be a tool for life. There are many extra-curriculars to get involved in, if there was only a 48 hour day she would be involved in more activities.

Trinity does promote the strength of women. They believe in their mission of educating strong, independent women. Unfortunately, I do not believe that the quality of education provided by the teachers is as strong as they believe. The girls at this school are very much out of control. They, like every other catholic school wind up getting young, inexperienced teachers who cannot control classes. It is a great school for the girls who are self-motivated and are already in the top of their class. If you are a struggling student, that needs extra help or attention, beware of this school. They should worry about the quality of education that they provide and make sure everyone benefiting.

I graduated from Trinity and continued my education, majoring in Spanish. I credit Trinity for motivating me to become a teacher and loving the profession of making a difference in the lives of young people. My daughter now attends Trinity and I know she is challenged accademically. She admires and respects her teachers. It is obvious that she will be well prepared for college. She has thoroughly enjoyed her experience thus far. As a parent and an educator, I am extremely pleased with the education my daughter is receiving at Trinity. Trinity graduates young, independent and motivated women who believe that they can attain any goal they set for themselves. Thank you for the great role models you have provided for my daughter.

Our daughter graduated from Trinity High School and had a wonderful experience. She was in the IB program and she felt it was very beneficial to her in college. She entered a Big 10 University as a second semester freshman and felt she was strides above her classmates in science and math. She chose Trinity because she felt a great sense of warmth by the faculty and staff. She was active in both volleyball and basketball. Trinity prepared her both educationally and spiritually for the real world. She also made some wonderful friendships that have endured through the years.

I whole heartedly agree with all of the comments made by the previous people. This school is all about putting up a good front. They tell you that it has high standards for academics, of course there is no way to check that out because it is a private school. They are so rigid in their ridiculous rules, and enforcing detentions, but don't pay enough attention to the quality of the education that they provide. The girls at this school are rude and out of control. There have been numerous teachers who cannot control the class, thus the whole class suffers. The assistant principal Miss Bigane really does nothing to promote communication. If you have any other choice available to you, make sure not to choose Trinity.

The programs are there, however this school does not do a good job at teaching students that need help. They are more focused on having students teach themselves material. The teachers simply introduce material. With my experience there, I had two teachers that inspired me. This school is not very diverse-- thus coming from a very diverse city school, it's a very strange transistion. The students in this school are competitive.

I attending this school for high school and hated it. Teachers seemed more concerned with developing relationships with the larger groups of kids than they did with teaching. Eventually, I fell behind at this school, not because I wasn't smart but due to lack of motivation. Luckily, I didn't fall behind enough to prevent me continuing on with my education. But that school seriously depressed me. Most of the teachers were cruel-- When I didn't understand something. Those things were never explained to me. Teachers were inconsiderate and seemed to promote the gossiply and rude behavior of some of the cliques. 3 experiences stand out to me most there-- 1: I learned nothing there at all that 2: Teachers were not very responsive when asking for help. 3: All they want is your money. I had a terrible experience. and the school still contacts me whenever they want money. 4: The school is not diverse.

My daughter attended Trinity High School for her first two years. She,her father and I regret every minute of it. Academically, this school is very poor, admiting girls with very low entrance exam scores. Athletically, this school is poor also, admiting girls on sports teams with no knowledge of how to play the sport. My daughter transferred to a top number 1 ranking high school and on the first day noticed a huge difference. We wasted over $15,000 on tuition for her first two years and we do not recommend this school to girls who are seeking a rigorous academic program. Furthermore, getting in touch with the Dean or anyone in authority is impossible. Your phone calls never get returned no matter how many times you call. Teachers are not the best at teaching and often times are rude and mean.
