Erie Elementary Charter School Reviews

Erie Elementary Charter School was started by Erie Neighborhood House in 2005. The teachers there are all highly qualified with Master Degrees, and the teacher aides all have BA's. EECS is a community where students, parents and teachers work together to develop children who are confident in their culture and ethnic origin, bi-literate in Spanish and English, achieve academic excellence, and firmly placed on a path to higher education. The school will soon be offering music, currently they offer judo and a homework club after school. The Parent Leadership council meets every second Tuesday of the month to discuss their children's education and other important goals. The Principal is highly qualified individual and all of the children know her and she knows there names. The classrooms have no more than 21 students per class, brand new computers, which is integrated into their curriculm.
