Choir Elementary Charter Academy Reviews

This is my child's first year at the Choir Academy. I am very disappointed. The class room is not controlled by the teachers. Children are unable to learn because of other disrespectful children. The principle is a great leader but the principle can not be in every class to maintain control at all times.

The 2006-2007 school year is my daughter's first at the Choir Academy. She has been in academically gifted programs since pre-school. I decided to try the Choir Academy because I found her gifted program to be lacking outside of being academically challenging. Missing were extra curricular activities, hands on learning and classroom interaction and movement that I found to be essential to THE WAY my daughter learns. She was depressed about school at age 8. Her grades & attitude were suffering. Since attending The Choir Academy my daughter has become excited about her classroom activities, has developed a desire to keep up with her reading and says she enjoys the different ways she's instructed (in class experiments, circle time, music, recess, gym twice a week, longer lunches, etc.) She also gets a full day, 8am-4pm, and her extracurricular activities after school, AT SCHOOL. We're pleased. My daughter feels successful and confident.
