Making Embroidery and Appliqué Work Together (Chicago Session with Beth Cummings)
6 weeks Thursdays, March 11 - April 22 2010 {with no class on April 1st} 6:00-9:00pm $150 Max 10 students - 10 spots left Instructor: Beth Cummings Learn a selection of beginning embroidery stitches to create beautiful and modern creations. Then you'll learn a variety of applique techniques to take your embroidery to the next level. By combining the two disciplines you will learn to create 3-dimensional, textural art pieces to express your unique point of view. Students will need to bring a notepad and embroidery hoop (approx. 8"), all other materials will be provided.
