Dear Patriots, We took a little breather after our long fought election battle earlier this month, and although we did not win the battle, the war is far from over, and we eagerly look forward to hearing the conservative agenda of Illinois republican nominee for governor Bill Brady! CHICAGO TEA PARTY PATRIOTS' FUNDRAISER As you know, we are approaching our 1st year anniversary and we are very proud of our accomplishments and grateful for our friendships. However, much of this takes a lot of work, energy and money, so on Saturday, March 20th, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., at Studio 31, 5147 S. Archer Avenue in Chicago we will hold our first fundraiser. All of our costs throughout this past year have been absorbed by a few people, but with our very exciting upcoming year and our growth, we need to expand our finances so that not just a few people are depended on to carry the costs. Door tickets are being sold for $25 per person, which will include a buffet of food and a load of door prizes. We are also holding a raffle and selling six (6) tickets for $5; 1st prize is a five (5) day stay at a Napa Valley, California resort, 2nd prize is four (4) Chicago White Sox tickets, 3rd prize is Two (2) Noble Theatre tickets and 4th prize is a tea party basket of goodies. This will be a great time to get together with like-minded patriots and get to know each other in a more casual environment. Too often we meet each other, on a picket line or at a town hall, but seldom do we have the opportunity to mix and mingle until now! Tickets can be bought pre-sale or at the door.
