What is nicer than a chance to take a breather and immerse yourself in color and observations after a long day at work, a free chance to do it. The Museum of Contemporary Art offers Free Tuesdays through the end of April and I thought some of you might enjoy this particular free Tuesday along with a visit to Puck's Cafe. Description taken from the Museum's web site : The MCA offers a range of free and wildly interesting events in the cafe almost every Tuesday evening from October through April. Museum admission is free to everyone on Tuesdays so come early and visit the galleries and then stick around for constructive entertainment accompanied by a glass of wine or a cup of Joe and a tasty snack from Puck's Cafe. MAGICAL MUSICAL SHOWCASE Fourth Tuesday of the month, 6 pm Some of Chicago's most renowned music clubs and organizations present their favorite local singer-songwriters. This hour-long set provides an opportunity for emerging musical artists to present their original work. Mar 23: Harold Arts: Jason Ajemian's High Life I have to say, if anything, this performance should provoke varying emotions and opinions from everyone.
