Chicago Philharmonic ends season with Mozart
The critically acclaimed Chicago Philharmonic will perform Mozart Masterworks on May 31 at Northwestern University’s Pick-Steiger Hall as a conclusion to the 2008–09 season.
Works to be performed at the 7 p.m. concert include Mozart’s Quartet in D for flute, violin, viola and cello; Mozart’s Quintet in E-Flat for horn, violin, two violas, cello and French horn.
Founded in 1991, many of its members perform in the Lyric Opera Orchestra, the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra, the Ravinia Festival Orchestra and other Chicago arts venues.
