Artist Bio
I live and work in Mt. Prospect, IL just outside of Chicago with my wife Alicia and son Jordan. I attended Valparaiso University and The Illinois Institute of Art. My wife and I owned a gallery for many years in Chicago. Currently, I am represented by galleries in the US and Europe and recent special projects include pieces commissioned for the Broadway show "Rent", the 40th anniversary of "The Second City" and Chicago's "Cow's on Parade". Corporate commissions include pieces for IBM, Hotel Allegro in Chicago, historic Navy Pier and Washburn Guitars.
I also own a new gallery - www.metaphorsgallery.com
Metaphors gallery emerged in October 2006 with the vision of exposing the Chicago area to a wide spectrum of unique works of art by local, national, and international artists.
Our mission is to tap into everyone’s creative spirit from professional art collectors to that one person who is touched by a single painting or sculpture. We hope to provide the joy and discovery of owning original art at every price level.
Metaphors gallery exhibits a dynamic mix of contemporary painting, drawing, printmaking, pottery, glass, photography, sculpture and hand-crafted jewelry. We embrace self-taught and outsider artists along with formally trained individuals. Stop by often and experience our ever-changing exhibits of discovery.
