If I could rate them lower I would The Monday before Thanksgiving I bought a used stove (Tappan) $150.00. On Tuesday it was delivered. I worked late on Tuesday and Wednesday I ordered out. I did turn on the broiler it worked, I did try the burners it worked.
Thanksgiving comes around and the STOVE does not work. I was beside myself, I had family coming in from all over. My Thanksgiving was ruined needless to say. On the following day, (today) I called the store. I was not yelling I simply wanted someone out to fix my stove. I have a turkey in the ref and it's not going to keep. I talked to the manager who would not give his name, what a horrible person. He informed me that the a repair person would not be in until the 28th. I told him that in good faith I bought from his store he then replied, "Don't talk religion to me", I was shocked, religion? I was talking about integrity, I was talking about customer satisfaction. NOT RELIGION. I asked why I could not have a repair person out, he replied, " I was a control freak and I just wanted to control the situation" at that point my boyfriend took the phone. I was shocked. How ignorant could a person be. Also, I did ask for the owner, I was then told he would be out for 2 weeks. I asked for his name, he would not give me his name.
I have contacted CLTV, ABC, NBC, SUNTIMES AND THE TRIBUNE. I am also calling the States Attorneys office and you may be seeing me on Judge Judy. I have never sued anyone in my life and I thought I never would but this guy has crossed my line. I pay this guys salary, we were going to purchase a washer and dryer but forget it now.
BEWARE OF BUYING FROM THEM. He said I am not the first unhappy customer and I won't be the last. So much for repeat business. BEWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. I advise to go elsewhere, these people have not a drop of compassion.
